  ROLE SUMMARY The NSM has as key responsibilities:
  • Support the GM in all major tasks especially with Suppliers and stakeholders
  • Manage the Key accounts and all owned retail outlets
  • Plan activations, follow through on their implementation and carry out reporting
  • Manage the Sales team
  • Carry out Sales development
  KEY TASKS Support the GM in all major tasks especially with Suppliers and stakeholders
  • Carry out demand planning
  • Participate in negociations of trading terms with suppliers (poultry farmers)
  • Establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders
Manage the Key accounts and all owned retail outlets
  • Establish and manage trade terms with key accounts
  • Carry out supply planning for the retail outlets
  • Carry out budget planning for the retail outlets, set and track monthly targets
  • Manage cash collections and receivables for the key accounts and retail outlets
Manage the Sales Team
  • Set sales team monthly targets
  • Track sales on a weekly and monthly basis, identify shortfalls and apply corrective measures
  • Develop and deploy actions to stimulate and drive sales
  • Supervise and motivate the Sales team to achieve targets
  • Coach the Sales team, carry out periodic performance evaluations
Plan activations, follow through on their implementation and carry out reporting
  • Plan activations for the retail outlets, and ATL and BTL activations through the marketing agency
  • Collaborate with the marketing agency to deliver on our marketing objectives
  • Prepare end of activity reports
Carry out Sales Development
  • Carry out prospection for new key account clients
  • Drive the development of our roadside vendors programme
  • Prospect and identify new locations for opening of new retail outlets, and drive the development of these
  QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Commerce, Management or any other social science
  • Experience in the FMCG industry, with a minimum of 5 yrs in the areas of Sales, Distribution or business development
  • Experience in key accounts management or working with supermarkets
  • Experience in managing people without a direct or formal authority (influencing skills)
  • Bilingual(English and French)
  • Drivers’ license Cat B
  REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Good collaboration skills, good at managing customer relations
  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable in using spreadsheets
  • Budget management skills
  • Ability to think and act strategically
  • Good mastery of modern trade and traditional trade distribution channels in Cameroon.
