Recruitment: Intel Outsourcing Services Ltd Position: QHSE Officer Report to: Plant Manager Job Objectives:
  • Developing and executing health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines
  •  Preparing and enforcing policies to establish a culture of health and safety
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing physical security equipment
  • Reviewing accident report
  • Applying safety procedures
  • Evaluates practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law
  • Conduct the training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention
  • Coordinates safety activities of unit managers to ensure implementation of safety activities throughout organization
  • Monitor compliance to policies and laws by expecting employees and operations
  • Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to discover causes and handle worker’s
  • Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
  • Report on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics
  • Plans, implements, and coordinates program to reduce or eliminate occupational injuries, illness, deaths, and financial losses
  • Identifies and appraises conditions which could produce accidents and financial losses and evaluates potential extent injuries resulting from accidents
  • Maintains liaison with outside organizations, such as fire departments, mutual aid societies, and rescue team to assure information exchange and mutual assistance.
Profile:
  • Applicant must have a BSc/BA or valid qualification in safety management, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Basic or Applied Science, Environmental Sciences or any other relevant field is preferred..
  • Applicant must have atleast two (02) to three (03) year experience in occupational health and safety or similar activities
  • Strong safety culture – Willingness to work in a global and diverse environment
  • Proven leadership skills
  • High level of loyalty and integrity
  • Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
  •  Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
  • Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
  • Excellent organizational and motivational skills
  • Must be able to speak and write English and/French fluently.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
  • Exceptional communication interpersonal abilities
