JOB TITLE:  Secretary/Cashier DEPARTMENT:  Finance LOCATION:Yaounde REPORTING LINE:Accountant START DATE:    1st October 2019 ROLE SUMMARY The Secretary is responsible for:
  • Assisting the accountant in invoicing and bookkeeping
  • Tracking all product inflows and outflows
  • Managing operations of the cash desk
  KEY TASKS Assisting the accountant in invoicing and bookkeeping
  • Record sales transactions as directed by the accountant
  • Manage basic finance operations (bank records, supplier payments, records)
  • Carry out invoicing and archiving of accounting evidences
Tracking all product inflows and outflows
  • Track and record the movements in of products and the movements out
  • Ensure all product movements are accompanied by the required documentation to justify
Managing operations of the cash desk
  • Manage the petty cash
  • Carry out bankings and cheque deposits
  • Track and manage expense requests and their reconciliation
  • Work closely with the supervisor and carry out the assigned tasks
  • Support the Supervisor in achieving his objectives, and sit in for him in his absence
With Colleagues
  • Work in close collaboration with colleagues in all matters of invoicing, cash inflows and outflows
  • Maintain a cordial and professional working relationship with colleagues
With Customers/Supplier partners
  • Maintain a good relationship with customers and supplier partners to drive our business interests
  • 2 years working experience in Secreterial duties, as a cashier, Customer service or HR Assistant
  • Minimum Qualification: HND/BTS in any field
  • Fluent in both English or French
  • Good collaborator
  • Good knowledge of MS Office productivity tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Independent and well organized
